Introduction

We started our journey on rivers thinking about the rivers around us and the benefits and resources we gain from them.  Now let's take a look at the major rivers in the United States.

Over the next few days, you will be using the document linked below to explore 6 rivers.  We will start with the Mississippi River and the Ohio River.

You will use your own research to locate information about six major rivers in our country.

Today we will focus on researching the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers.

  • Use the Google Document linked HERE Download linked HERE to guide your research.  It will make a copy of the document.  Up in the left corner, name the document: Your name's River Research.
  • Be sure to use a safe search engine (check in with your teacher!)
  • Type in each fact under the river you are researching.
  • You will use this document over the next few days and turn it in when you have finished researching all 6 rivers.
