Introduction

Yesterday we took a look at the Appalachian Mountains.  Today, let's look at the Rocky Mountain ranges.

Grab your Social Studies journal or a piece of paper.

Take a look at this picture from the Rocky Mountain range. 

Click on the question marks, read the questions and jot down your thoughts.

Yesterday, we researched the Appalachian Mountain and filled in the information on our document.  Today let's locate information, using your own research, on the Rocky Mountain Range.  Then we can compare the two mountain ranges.

  • Use the Document from yesterday.

  • Be sure to use a safe search engine (check with your teacher).
  • Type in each fact under the mountain you are researching.
