Introduction

Today, we will explore how buying local affects production, distribution and consumption.  We will view a video that talks about the benefits of fresh produce and how geography and climate are related to food production.

Grab your Social Studies journal so you can take notes as you watch.  There are some questions that will pop up as the video is played.  You can answer those questions in your notebook and jot down any additional ideas.  Your notes will be helpful to complete the discussion post assignment.
