Day 174: Writing a Nonfiction Book
Introduction
Hello boys and girls. Today we are going to start writing a nonfiction book. I will take my information about penguins from our graphic organizer and put it on writing paper. I will also show how we will use headers to let our readers know what they will be learning on each page. Watch the video below.

Boys and girls, place the correct punctuation at the end of each sentence.
Assignment
Boys and girls, grab your graphic organizer on eagles and write the information from the organizer to your writing paper. You will need 4 sheets of writing paper. You will put a heading for each page. Use the headings on the graphic organizer to write the headings. Make sure you write your information in complete sentences. Do not draw any pictures yet. We are just focusing on writing your information. Once you have completed it, take a picture.
- You will need 4 pieces of writing paper. Write the heading “What It Looks Like” on a sheet of paper. Write the heading “Where It Lives” on the second sheet of paper. Write “What It Eats” on the third piece of paper. Last write “Fun Facts” on the last piece of paper.
- Take information from each heading on your graphic organizer about Eagles and write on the paper under the correct heading.
- Take a picture of each page.
