Introduction

Hello boys and girls. Today we are going to continue with our research writing.  Last time we learned about lions.  Today you are going to learn about zebras.  We are going to read about zebras and put the information on our graphic organizer.  Watch the video below.

Boys and girls, let’s review punctuation marks.  Click and drag the correct punctuation mark at the end of the sentence.

Assignment

Boys and girls, you are going to read about zebras.  I want you to find out what zebras look like, eat, live, and any other interesting facts.  Record your information on the graphic organizer or create your own.

  1. Print the graphic organizer Download graphic organizer or create your own.
  2. Print or read the zebra information sheet Download zebra information sheet.  
  3. In each section of the graphic organizer, write down what a zebra looks like, what they eat, where they live, and another fun fact.
  4. Take a picture of your finished graphic organizer and upload to Canvas.
  5. Make sure to keep your graphic organizer for the next writing assignment.
