Introduction

In our last module, we talked about different holidays. We learned about why we celebrate those holidays and what those holidays look like in other countries. Now, as we begin another module, we will shift our focus and talk about the importance of being a good leader. We’ll look at American presidents, American symbols, and patriotism. We’ll learn about patriotism and how you can show patriotism. We’ll finish this module by learning about a great leader and activist Martin Luther King, Jr. Today, we’re going to start our journey by defining patriotism and how you can show love for your country.
