Introduction

Do you know what community means? A community is a group of people around you. When we are looking at this definition, we are going to think of people who live around us. Who are the people who help us in our community?

You’re right! Police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, and firefighters are all people who help us in our community. But did you know there are so many more? A community helper is anyone in our community who helps us! Community helpers include dentists, construction workers, linemen, mailmen, trash truck drivers, grocery store workers, bank tellers, and so many more!
