Introduction

Yesterday we started talking about Christopher Columbus. We learned that he was exploring the Atlantic Ocean in hopes to find a water route to another place. Did you notice something when we looked at the pictures during our lesson? Did the things in the picture look a little different? That is because Christopher Columbus lived a long time ago. The world today is very different from the world Christopher Columbus lived in. Today, we are going to talk about the world from long ago versus now.
