Introduction

What about in the air?  Why would something that previously floated in the air, begin to sink?  Why can some things float in the air and other things sink to the ground?  Kites and balloons float in the air but a leaf may float for a time and then sink.

Assignment

Today we learned that some things can float on air.  They may not stay floating, but they can float for a bit of time.  What can you create that can float on air for a bit of time?  Get creative!  Share what you made on Flip.
