Sorting By Our Senses (Day 27)

Introduction

Yesterday you looked for things that you can smell. Some things smell good and some things smell bad. Some animals give off a smell as a warning to you to stay away. Milk has a bad smell when it is expired to keep you from drinking it. Today we will use our sense of hearing to explore the world. What can you hear inside your home or outside? Do you hear loud sounds or quiet sounds? Maybe you hear a car drive-by or a bird chirp? Inside, you may hear your washing machine, a door open or close.

After watching this video, you are going to use your sense of hearing on a walk around the inside or the outside of your home. If you are walking outside, make sure that you have an adult. Listen to the things that you hear and draw a picture or write them down.
