Day 2: Understanding Addition

Introduction

Yesterday we began our work with addition.  When we add, we are putting groups of objects together into one group.  If I have 3 toy cars and my friend has 3 toy cars we can add the cars together and have 6 toy cars altogether.  Today you will continue to work on addition using a different strategy.  A strategy is a way to solve a problem.
