Day 14: Analyze, Create, and Compare Shapes 

Introduction

If you are given two shapes, could you use those shapes to make something new?  Today you will be asked to use two shapes and make them into something new.  Shapes can be found all around!  You will need your math journal and a pencil and maybe crayons and markers to complete the activity today.

Today, use two triangles to create a new picture.  You can put the triangles together or keep them apart.  Use your math journal or the didax manipulative below to demonstrate and share on Flip what you came up with.  You can have a parent cut out two triangles, or you can, and glue them to the paper and create something out of those shapes.
