Day 2: Identify and Describe Shapes

Introduction

If you look at a square and a rectangle, they look very similar.  They both have four straight sides and four corners.  There are differences though.  The sides of a square are all equal and the rectangle has two short sides and two long sides.  We can also compare that shape to a prism or a cube.  A cube has straight sides and squares can be found on a cube.  Let’s keep working with shapes today!
