Introduction

What number comes after 16? Can you remember?  It is seventeen!  Today our number is seventeen.  It can be written as a word and a numeral.  We can also make a set of seventeen things using a ten and seven ones.  Let's count to seventeen today!  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17!  After watching the video about seventeen, practice writing the numeral 17 in your math journal and making a set of seventeen objects.
