đŸ”º Day 1: Compare Numbers 0-5

Day 1: Compare Numbers 0-5

Introduction

Last week we began to work on comparing sets of objects from 0 to 5.  When we compare these sets, we learned to use words like more than, greater than, less than, fewer than, equal to, or the same as.  Comparing sets means that you are looking at the attributes of the sets and in this case, we are comparing quantities or looking at the amounts.  Other ways that sets of objects can be compared are by comparing the colors.  For example, one set of cars may be red and another set green.  Today you will continue to work on the comparison of sets.  Today we will use the words ‘most’ and ‘least’.

Introduction of Activity

In your activity today, you will practice with the words most and least.  Using the word ‘most’ would describe the group that has more and using the word ‘least’ would describe the group that has less.
