Introduction

Yesterday we worked on solving a story problem where we separated a set.  This gave us a new amount.  Today, you will work on another subtraction story problem.  When we subtract, we are separating objects from the group or taking them away.  The result will be an amount that is less than the amount that we started with.  Watch the video to show how to solve a problem and to see the problem that you will solve in your math journal.  After solving the problem, share your solution in Flip.
