Introduction

There are different strategies that you have learned this week to solve an addition problem.  Today we will review the strategies and practice solving more sample problems.  You will use your math journal today to show a math addition problem that you may use during your day and then share on Flip.

Assignment

In Your Journal: Find two groups in your house.  Draw a picture of the two groups and write an addition sentence to match the groups. 

For example:  Find two small cars and two large cars.  The number sentence would be 2+2=4.
