Day 9: All About Counting (forward, backward, and counting on)

Introduction

Counting up to a hundred can take a while to learn how to do. We are going to practice counting to one hundred by ones again today. When you count to one hundred, after ten, the tens place changes, and the ones place keeps going in a pattern. In your activity today, you will work on changing the tens place. For example: when you get to nineteen, the next number is twenty, not two-teen. Twenty is a two and a zero. There are two groups of ten and zero ones.
