Introduction

Where are some places where you might see a pattern?  Maybe a rug or carpet in your home has a pattern or wallpaper.  Sometimes we can see patterns on animals, like stripes on certain snakes.  Even day and night are in a pattern.  The sun rises, and then it sets, rises and then sets, rises and then sets.  There are all different kinds of patterns that we see every day.  Today you will learn more about patterns and where we can see and use patterns.
