🔵 Day 15: Compare Numbers 0-5

Day 15: Compare Numbers 0-5

Introduction

Throughout this week you have learned how to compare sets from 0 to 5.  These can be compared using specific words like more than, greater than, less than, fewer than, equal to or the same as.  As you go through your day today, think about times where you want to know or need to know which groups or sets have more than, less than or equal to other sets.  Maybe it is when you are playing with toy cars with a friend or sharing chips with your brother or sister, or maybe even making necklaces with beads with your mom or dad.

Introduction to the Interactive

In this activity, you will compare sets again and move them into the correct boxes.  You will count sets of cars today.  If the red cars have more than the blue cars, that set will go in the ‘more than’ box.  If the red cars have less than the blue cars, that set will go in the less than box.  If the two groups of cars are the same, they will go in the equal than group.
