Day 10: Numbers 6-10

Introduction

For this module, we are going to review numbers 6-10.  We will focus on numerals, number words, and set recognition for these amounts. In previous modules, you have been working with counting sets and making sure that you count each object in a set to provide an accurate or correct count of the sets.  Today we will focus on subitizing these sets, which means to know how many there are without counting them, just by looking at the pattern.

Introduction for the Interactive

In your activity today, you will practice using a pair of dice to subitize and typing the numeral to match the set.  Complete this activity as many times as you would like to increase your speed at subitizing.  Ask your parent or learning coach for help if needed.
