🔺Module 6 - W1 - Day 4 - ELA
Lesson Instructions
You will go through two lessons (one in grammar and one in reading).
GRAMMAR
Introduction
Hi grammarians! We are focusing on context clues with finding the meaning of words!
When strong readers come to an unfamiliar word, they use the clues around the words to determine the meaning.
Today, our focus is antonyms.

WRITING
Introduction
Hey writers! Today we will be grouping our ideas into a graphic organizer! You will be using the prompt to complete your organizer. Your organizer should not look like mine because your opinion is yours and yours alone! Many of you may have chosen a different prompt, and that is okay.
These were your prompt options:
- Is it necessary to learn cursive writing? Why or why not?
- When should children get cell phones?
- What state would be the best place to vacation?
- What is the best pet?
- Who is the best historical figure?

To do: Create your graphic organizer with reasons to support your opinion. If you cannot come up with three strong reasons, we might need to change our topic to something stronger!
