Introduction

We learned that sometimes root words come from Greek or Latin words, but sometimes our phrases and words in English also come from myths! Our reading focus for the next few lessons will be reading greek myths and trying to understand the word that was created from the myth.

Yesterday, we learned the phrase "Pandora's box." Today, we will be finding out the origins of the phrase "Midas Touch."
