Day 11 Government: A Democratic Society

A Democratic Society

Greetings!

Do you remember back to Day 1 when we learned about the rights and responsibilities of citizens? Today, we are going to take a deeper look at those as they apply to the importance of citizens feeling like they are part of their communities–at any level.

💡First, take a look at today’s digital poster. It talks about some of the principles of a functioning democratic society. You’ll likely think that these principles just make sense. Then you get to watch a short video on our duties as citizens and what happens as a result of not following them. Your activity today will be dialogue cards, but they are going to look a little different this time!
