Day 5 Government: State Government: Executive
State Government: Executive
Welcome back for our third branch of government!
Today, we will focus on the third and final branch: the Judicial Branch. This branch is led by the justices (or judges) of the Supreme Court. This final branch helps balance out the other two branches by reviewing laws and checking to make sure they are Constitutional.
💡You will start by reading the final section on the Judicial Branch of the digital poster. Then, you will see another digital poster that explains the Constitution. Finally, there is a link to a video that talks about the Supreme Court and how it works for the US government. You’ll be able to see just how important this branch is because of how closely its members study the US Constitution. Once you have gone through both resources, you have another image choice activity to complete!
