Day 19 British Colonial: Artisans

Artisans

Greetings again!

For today’s portion of the research project, we will be looking at artisans. These would be the people (almost exclusively men) who had a very skilled trade in the colonies. Since there were no big chain stores like we have today where you can buy clothing, baked goods, and cooking tools all in the same place, you had to go to artisans for their skills or products.

Look at both the digital poster below and the link in your research project document to learn more about artisans. Then fill out the section of the project document when you learn something new about artisans.
