Introduction

We talked about our responsibilities.  And we compared how our responsibilities at home and in the classroom can be the different and some responsibilities can be the same.  What happens when those responsibilities are not carried out?

Consequences are the result of an action you've taken or sometimes when you don't do something. Consequences can be good or bad.  For example, if you follow the rules in your classroom, you may have good consequences such as free time, rewards or extra recess.  If you do not follow the rules in your classroom, you may have bad consequences such as a call home, extra classwork or a visit to the principal's office.  Now that you have an idea of good and bad consequences, we would like for you to answer some questions in a discussion post.

Think about the rules and responsibilities you have at home, school, and to the environment.

🤔What are the consequences when you carry out the rules and responsibilities?

🤔What are the consequences when you don't carry out the rules/ responsibilities?

🤔Do you think it is fair for those with power and authority in your life (parents, teachers, government officials) to enforce these rules?  Why or why not?"
