Demonstrating Character: Nonfiction
Introduction
Nonfiction is any work that presents factual information instead of a made-up story. Types of nonfiction include articles, autobiographies, biographies, essays, memoirs, and reports. In this module, you will read a speech and a portion of an autobiography. Both of the nonfiction pieces focus on people who were excellent citizens. Look for examples of the theme demonstrating character as you read the selections in this unit as well.
