It is true that there is no shortage of challenges in our communities, nation, and world. However, it is also true that there are countless ways in which we can address and overcome those challenges.

In this module, we will be examining apps for social good. To begin this examination, think about the apps you use often. Are any of those apps apps for social good? As we learn more about what an app for social good is and what they do, be sure that you think about the apps you use.

Be mindful that awareness is the first step to addressing and overcoming these challenges. Think back to when we were talking about design process. Remember the first step of that process is to identify a problem.

As we continue learning, talk with family and/or friends about apps for social good that they may be using. Also, inform them of apps for social good that you would like to create and/or use to impact positive change. YOU can impact change…anywhere at any time!
