Social Solutions
Introduction
Students will learn about the impact technology has in creating social solutions. Students will explore and discuss ethical challenges of the development and implementation of technological innovation. As a culminating project, students will create an app for social good.

In this module, we will study the following topics:
Vocabulary Building: In this lesson, we will review terminology relevant to social solutions.
Thinking About Your World: In this lesson, we will begin to think about our place in the world and what we can do to make changes.
Apps for Social Good: In this lesson, we will examine Apps for Social Good. We will explore what they are, and what Apps for Social Good do for us.
Acting For Your World: In this lesson, students will apply all that they have learned regarding the ISOP model, the design process, Code.org’s App Lab Introduction, and their research/review of social good apps to create a social good app.
