Now that you have completed this module, you should know and understand what is needed for retirement. Although you are not close to retirement, when you first start working full time you should be thinking about investing for retirement. The longer your money is invested, the longer is has to compound and grow. You will be eligible for social security benefits as long as you pay into. You will also need other supplemental investments such as a 401k or 403b offered by your employer and an IRA that you secure and invest in on your own to ensure you have 8 to 10 times your final salary to last the rest of your life. Retirement should be an enjoyable time in your life. Make sure you have enough money saved so you can really enjoy it!
