This means that you will need a plan for your life and for your money. To create and execute this plan you first need to understand what financial literacy is, basic tools needed for money management, employability skills to secure the dream career, and how Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will help. When this module is completed successfully, you will be equipped to begin learning about your personal finances and how to enter the workforce with ease!

- Financial Literacy: the set of knowledge and skills that allow individuals to manage financial resources
- Skills: the ability to do something with competence
- Employability: a set of achievements, skills, knowledge and personal attributes that make a person likely to gain employment and be successful in their chosen occupations.
- FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America): the largest and oldest business student organization in the world that prepares students for careers in business
- Critical Thinking: disciplined thinking that is clear, rational, open-minded, and informed by evidence
- Integrity: adherence to moral and ethical principles, soundness of moral character, honesty
