Japanese Mythology Overview
According to Japanese mythology, giant catfish were the cause of earthquakes. Not to worry, the Japanese gods were in full control of the monstrous fish. If this does not sound familiar, perhaps Japanese mythology is better known for things like anime or video games. In some way or another, Japanese mythology has probably crept into modern day life.
