CAR - Job and Salaries Lesson
Jobs and Salaries
Computer professionals are employed in several companies. Many companies offer work environments that include childcare, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work from home. Salaries for computer professionals will vary based on the job. The Occupational Outlook Handbook and other career planning resources provide salary projections. Jobs that require a college degree will pay more than those that require a high school diploma with a recognized industry certification. Certification alone is typically not sufficient to qualify for some of the entry-level information technology jobs but obtaining certification will increase your marketability. Qualifications for information technology jobs will also vary depending on the job. Access the learning object below to obtain information on a few computer related jobs. Jobs inside and outside an Information Technology Department will be featured. Use the links below to view additional computer career resources.
