Programming Software Preparation Assignment

Scratch is a visual programming language that allows users to create animations, games, and interactive stories.  You will use the free online version of the program to complete Scratch assignments and projects in this course.  Please follow the instructions in this assignment and submit the required document to demonstrate that you have been able to successfully save the file.  Contact your teacher with any questions.

Assignment Requirements

  1. Access the Scratch program at https://scratch.mit.edu/ Links to an external site.
  2. Click on the Create option from the menu. See the image below.

  1. Play the video tutorial that is featured and follow the steps referenced.

  1. Save the Scratch file by clicking on File option, then Save to Your Computer.  See the image below.

  1. The file will be saved in your Downloads folder.
  2. Submit the saved file.
