Students will learn how animals differ from other living organisms. Students will learn characteristics, examples, and adaptations of each of the animal phyla. Students will learn how animals maintain homeostasis. |

Once earning a 70% or above the students have the choice between two more assignments:

- Animal Study Guide
Once earning a 70% or above the students have will complete the final assessment:
- Animal Test
You will earn the Animal Badge once you have successfully earned a 70% for all of the above requirements.
*If you are unhappy with your score on the assignment you chose, then you are allowed to go back and complete the alternative choice as long as it is before the due date.

Animal Lab Invertebrate Survey |
Students will research and find scientific evidence to explain patterns in structures and function amount invertebrates within the Animal Kingdom. |
Animal Behavior Virtual Lab |
Students will enter in a virtual simulation to analyze elephant communication to explain patterns in structures and functions among this species in the animal kingdom. |
Animal Review Quiz

Students will answer multiple choice questions to assess their knowledge over the two standards (SB5.a & SB4.a) covered in the module to help them prepare for the end of the module test. |
Animal Study Guide

Students will be assessed over the modules two standards (SB5.a & SB4.a) by answering different style questions on a worksheet to prepare them for the module final assessment. |
Animal Test |
This final assessment choice will assess students by testing their knowledge of patterns in structures and functions among the Animal Kingdom as well as assess their knowledge factors affecting biodiversity and populations in ecosystems. |
