DEDD - Game Design Lesson
Game Design Lesson
Start to determine the main responsibilities. Discuss which types of assets (file types for audio, graphics, etc.) you will be using in the game, who will be making them, how they will be shared, and start to develop. You can make a basic game without final high-quality assets like images and sounds. You can make a rough draft with low quality assets, and you can simply replace the assets later with a better quality. Programmers can work on coding interactions and game play with very simple objects, and replace them with more complex items later, if necessary. The goal of this lesson is to make a very clear plan, with a written list of responsibilities, and include that in your pitch document.
