RVCND - Using Tables for Normal Distribution Calculations Lesson

Math_Lesson_TopBanner.png Using Tables for Normal Distribution Calculations Lesson

Our course is a non-calculus based statistics course which means that we will have the benefit of having predictable areas under basically symmetric curves.  Others have done all the calculations and compiled those areas (probabilities) into table form referred to as a z-table.   That was accomplished through the use of calculus.   Additionally, calculus would help us find the summary statistics for these continuous random variables.   Luckily we will be using more user friendly formulas for mean, variance, and standard deviation.
