Mors Marcelli, Inventarium

In the story, Pseudolus created an inventarium, which is the Latin word for list. His list included people in and around the imperial household. Let's take a look at the list that Pseudolus created and use it to help us keep track of the various characters involved in our story. Some, we've met, and others we'll meet later!

PSEUDOLUS The lead character in the story, Pseudolus will be acting as the "Detective". A Greek tutor in the imperial household who was captured during the Battle of Actium. Previously served as a private tutor for Selene and Alexander in Egypt.
AUGUSTUS Rome's emperor, uncle of Marcellus Latin notes: Imperator Romae Avunculus Marcelli Quamquam erat bonus imperator, primo se saepe posuit. Quoque erat tam ambitiosus.
LIVIA Augustus' wife Latin notes: Uxor Augusti Matertera Marcelli, per matrimonium Livia filium, Tiberium, habuit. Imperatrix Tiberium regnare cupivit.
TIBERIUS Livia's son Latin notes: Filius Liviae Consobrinus per matrimonium Marcelli Tiberius matrem semper audiebat.
OCTAVIA Marcellus' mother, sister of Emperor Augustus Latin notes: Mater Marcelli Soror Augusti Peregrinos liberos in casa curabat.
JULIA (IULIA) Marcellus' wife, daughter of Emperor Augustus Latin notes: Uxor Marcelli Filia Augusti Iulia Marcellum numquam amavit.
AGRIPPA Roman senator, well-regarded general, friend of Emperor Augustus Latin notes: Dux Romanus Amicus Augusti Et Agrippa et Marcellus heredes Augusti esse potuerant. Agrippa potestatem cupivit.
CLEOPATRA SELENE Daughter of Marc Antony and Queen Cleopatra, twin sister of Alexander Helios; living under the care of Octavia. She is often refered to as Selene. Latin notes: Filia Marci Antonii et Cleopatrae VII Gemina soror Alexandri Selene erat proxima Pseudolo: discipula optima. Pseudolus erat custos Selenes.
ALEXANDER HELIOS Son of Marc Antony and Queen Cleopatra, twin brother of Cleopatra Selene; living under the care of Octavia. He is often refered to as Alexander. Latin notes: Filius Marci Antonii et Cleopatrae VII Amicus Marcelli Geminus frater Selenes Alexander et Marcellus erant boni amici. In casa Octaviae una creverant.
JUBA II of NUMIDIA (IUBA) Prince of the Roman vassal state of Numidia. Educated in Rome with Marcellus. Latin notes: Filius Iubae I, regis Numidiae Iuba, etsi erat amicus Marcelli, multum deridiculum doluit.
