Mors Marcelli, Inventarium

In the story, Pseudolus created an inventarium, which is the Latin word for list. His list included people in and around the imperial household. Let's take a look at the list that Pseudolus created and use it to help us keep track of the various characters involved in our story. Some, we've met, and others we'll meet later!

PSEUDOLUS

The lead character in the story, Pseudolus will be acting as the "Detective".

A Greek tutor in the imperial household who was captured during the Battle of Actium. Previously served as a private tutor for Selene and Alexander in Egypt.

AUGUSTUS

Rome's emperor, uncle of Marcellus

LIVIA

Augustus' wife

Livia's son

Marcellus' wife, daughter of Emperor Augustus

Roman senator, well-regarded general, friend of Emperor Augustus

CLEOPATRA SELENE

Daughter of Marc Antony and Queen Cleopatra, twin sister of Alexander Helios; living under the care of Octavia. She is often refered to as Selene.

ALEXANDER HELIOS

Son of Marc Antony and Queen Cleopatra, twin brother of Cleopatra Selene; living under the care of Octavia. He is often refered to as Alexander.

JUBA II of NUMIDIA (IUBA)

Prince of the Roman vassal state of Numidia. Educated in Rome with Marcellus.
