Transportation and Help

Introduction 

In this module, we will learn how to talk about transportation in Chinese. To ask for suggestions about how you can get to someplace, by plane or by train, you may use the sentence" 你说我坐飞机还是坐火车？"The answer could be 还是坐飞机吧, which means you'd better fly there. When you come across someone in the street, you could say "太巧了！" which means "What a coincidence!"  to show your surprise. To ask for help, you could start with, "您能帮我一个忙吗？". And to show your thanks, "谢谢您帮了我的忙" is often used.

In this module, we will learn the expressions of transportation. To talk about this topic, you should know the following words like"gōng jiāo chē公交车、dì tiě地铁、huǒ chē火车、fēi jī飞机。" etc. and also the patterns like "你要怎么去？"， "如果堵车的话我就坐地铁。" etc. In China, it is normal to ask your friend "Where are you going(你要去哪儿？) " when you and your friend come across in the street. It is not to ask for your privacy. If you need any help, you could say "您能帮我一个忙吗？".
