In this module, you will learn the frequently used welcome expression in China "Huān yíng guāng lín!欢迎光临!". And you will also know how to ask for price and size in Chinese. When it comes to the price, you should know the expression of different Chinese currencies (RMB). China is famous for its different cuisine styles. In China, to express welcome to customers or guests, "Huān yíng guāng lín! 欢迎光临!" is often used. Usually, "Huān yíng guāng lín!欢迎光临" would be the first words you hear when you enter a restaurant or a shop, and the proper response could be a nod with a smile. When you are shopping, you will probably hear the sentence "Nín yào mǎi shén me?"您要买什么?". To ask price, you can use "Zhè gè duō shǎo qián? 这个多少钱?",and the answer could be "Yì bǎi jiǔ shí jiǔ kuài jiǔ mǎo jiǔ.一百九十九块九毛九". If you want the medium size, you could say "Wǒ yào zhōng hào.我要中号。" To order Kongpao chicken in a restaurant, you could say "Wǒ yào yí gè gōng bǎo jī dīng 。"我要一个宫保鸡丁。"
