In order to ensure that you have a nutritionally balanced diet, appropriate decisions must be made when planning and shopping for food. In an attempt to aid consumers to make the best nutritional decisions, the Federal Government has developed MyPlate and requires producers to place a standardized food label on all food products. You will learn about MyPlate and the Food Label in this microlesson.
