Challenge

For your challenge: Interview and adult and ask them the questions in the question section below. Then, make sure to reflect on the feedback you received.

Questions

  • How has your weight changed with age?
  • Have you had any health problems associated with weight gain?

Reflections

  • What did you learn?
  • Had age affected their body composition?
  • Did this person stay active as an adult?

Reflection...

Body composition is made up of your body fluids, lean body mass, and body fat. Just remember that height and weight charts can be misleading because they do not indicate how much of your body weight is lean body mass and how much is body fat. Your goal should be to look and feel as healthy as possible.

What Is Your Takeaway?
