Fitness Self-Assessment

Let’s do a mini fitness assessment!

We are going to assess your flexibility, which is one of the components of fitness you will learn about later.

Sit on the floor with your legs straight in front of you. Without bending your knees, reach for your feet. Keep your toes up towards the ceiling - do not point your toes. Be sure to stretch without hurting yourself. If it starts to hurt or you feel a pull, stop. How far can you reach? Can you touch your toes? Can you reach past your toes? If you can nearly reach your toes or reach past your toes, keep up the great work!
