OPTION 1: Criminal vs. Civil Procedures

For this assignment, you will illustrate the procedures within criminal and civil law. Follow the instructions in the interactive powerpoint handout. Create two comic strips demonstrating the steps of the criminal justice process as well as the civil law process. You may conduct your own research and/or utilize the "Types of Law" lesson in the module for help.

OPTION 2: Crime Sot

For this assignment, you will sort various criminal offenses into their appropriate categories (property, public order, violent) and classifications (federal, felony, infraction, misdemeanor). Utilizing the interactive powerpoint handout, you will sort the crimes appropriately. Follow the instructions in the powerpoint. You may conduct your own research and/or utilize the "Types of Crimes" lesson in the module for help.
