Many people confuse economic systems and political systems. Governments usually make the major economic decisions for their country.  When they choose an economic system to follow, this often gets confused for their system of government. All economic systems try to answer three questions:

1. 1. What to produce?
   2. Who to produce it for?
   3. How to produce it?
