Relationships

In this module, we will explore the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships in situations of love and dating. This can be a challenging time in a teen's life. We will be looking at decision making, sexual assault, keeping safe, and aspects of healthy and unhealthy relationships. Consent and dating abuse are also important topics to understand.

Relationships

The society in which we live is saturated with sexual images and messages. Unfortunately, many teenagers are uninformed about the consequences associated with being sexually active. In this module, we look at healthy relationships vs. unhealthy relationships. Dating as teenagers can be a healthy relationship.

How do we know what makes a healthy relationship?
Although we see lots of relationships on tv and in the movies, many of these relationships are not accurate and healthy portrayals of love, sex, & dating
In this module, we will think deeply about how relationships work, how to set boundaries, and how to make wise choices based on our knowledge of potential consequences.
