Rhetorical Questions

WH-question signs (who, what, when, where, why, and how) can be used as rhetorical questions (RH questions) to draw attention to additional information which the signer will provide. Rhetorical questions differ from ordinary WH questions because the eyebrows are raised instead of furrowed together. Additionally, unlike a WH question, an RH "question" will also provide an answer. You ask a question and then answer it yourself. RH questions are used for emphasis and should be used sparingly.
