Introduction
Throughout this course you have learned about journaling, researching, plays and playwrights, and crafting characters. It is now time to put all of what you've learned together as you craft your own 10 minute play. This module will break down the process and will walk you through the steps. By the end, you will have written and produced your own play, demonstrating all that you have learned to this point.
Module Lessons Preview
In this module, we will study the following topics:
- Subject, Genre, Plot, Characters, and Dialogue: Writing the outline and first drafts of a play can be overwhelming. This lesson will break down the process into manageable sections.
- Writing a Ten-Minute Play and Staged Readings: Completing a ten-minute play and producing a rehearsed staged reading of the entire play for public feedback. This lesson will walk you through the steps as you stage your own reading of your 10 minute play.
