Learning Tasks: Vocabulario

This module's vocabulary uses words associated with food and place settings. Some of this vocabulary may even be familiar! It is highly recommended that you make a vocabulary list of the terms from both sections as well since you will be using them for projects and as a study guide for your quizzes and test.

Cultura

Many countries do not utilize their fingers for eating certain foods. Many times items such as French fries, pizza, and watermelon will be eaten with a knife and fork.

The various Spanish-speaking countries have different words they use for certain food items. In Colombia, for example, coffee is referred to as "tinto" and potato as "papa."
